2008 Three Rivers Yule Revel

Not going to Boar Hunt this year?
Missing those old time Yule Revels?
Let's make 'em come alive again!

On December 13th come bring your banner to display and join us in the spirit to make merry, at the first Three Rivers Yule Revel, hosted by the Shire of Betony Wood.

We plan to have games, maybe a contest or two and even some good old country dancing organized by Master Owen ap Morgan!

During the early part of the day before dinner, Master Owen will also be teaching a class on Italian dances!

Archery

Weather permitting, a Silver Arrow target archery tournament is planned, which will consist of 3 rounds;

Round 1: "The William Tell overture"
Round 2: "Pinata for hire"
Round 3: "Rangemaster's choice"

with a prize for the victor, hand made by Lady Zara bint Talib and donated by the West Kingdom Pottery guild.

Potluck

We ask that you bring a potluck side to share and the good Shire of Betony Wood will host by supplying the roast turkey and spiced cider for all attending. We also encourage entertainment during the potluck feast! If you juggle, sing, tell stories or even perform magic, please contact the autocrat for details. Outlets are available for warming dishes as well as limited kitchen space.

The potluck list is determined by mundane last name;
A to K - warm side dish
L to P - cold side dish
Q to Z - appetizers and deserts
